Unexpected aggressive behaviour: interaction of bupropion and alcohol.
A healthy policeman was prescribed bupropion in 2002 to help him stop smoking. It worked but after 18 months he relapsed. Though it had given him headaches and insomnia he tried using it again in 2009, [corrected] taking 150 mg/day. Three days after starting the tablets he took his wife out for dinner. They shared a bottle of wine and he also had other drinks. After walking home they quarrelled...

to more advanced techniques are provided at appropriate places throughout the text; and a comprehensive set of examples is provided at the end of each chapter. An intuitive rather than theoretical approach is stressed by the authors and thus some methods are presented almost entirely in "cook-book" style. With the exception of the material on analysis of frequencies presented in chapter 16, the...
متن کاملUnexpected Shear-wave Behaviour
Introduction Seismic anisotropy is often explained in terms of effective media where an ordered ensemble of sub-seismic elements leads to a directional variation of the materials properties. Examples of such systems include aligned cracks or fractures, fine layering and correlated pore space. Therefore, measurements of seismic anisotropy potentially allow insights to physical systems which woul...
متن کامل4’-thiodna: Unexpected Behaviour
This viewpoint briefly discusses the impact of 4’-thiosubstitution on oligonucleotides behaviour. The study in the reviewed articles has shown unexpected A-form formation, and unexpected RNA-like behaviour of the 4’-thioDNA. This has been confirmed by the unexpected interaction of 4’-thioDNA with Lividomycin A, a RNA major groove binder, and by resistance to cleavage by DNase I, which is a DNA-...
متن کاملUnexpected behaviour of crossing sequences
The n crossing number of a graph G, denoted crn(G), is the minimum number of crossings in a drawing of G on an orientable surface of genus n. We prove that for every a > b > 0, there exists a graph G for which cr0(G) = a, cr1(G) = b, and cr2(G) = 0. This provides support for a conjecture of Archdeacon et al. and resolves a problem of Salazar.
